Khadija Jahmila (b.1993, Maryland) is an Afro-Caribbean mixed-media artist, creative entrepreneur, and art educator whose work blends hand-cut paper and digital collage to explore Afrofuturistic themes and surrealism. Her vibrant creations celebrate the humanity, beauty, intersectionality, and otherworldliness of the African diaspora, merging the speculative with the fantastical to create immersive visual narratives.

Jahmila is the Season Artist for Baltimore Center Stage’s 2024–2025 season, designing key visuals for all six productions. Her artwork, used across websites, programs, social media, and physical installations, captures the essence of each play while collaborating closely with directors and playwrights to ensure alignment with the productions' artistic vision.

In 2020, Jahmila received the NextGen Award from VisArts in Rockville, MD. Her art has been exhibited in shows and retail spaces across Washington, DC, and Maryland, including Eaton DC, Waller Gallery, 11:Eleven Gallery, and VisArts.

In addition to her artistic practice, Jahmila teaches mixed-media art to kindergarten through fifth-grade students in Southeast Washington, DC, and leads weekly art classes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Suitland, MD. She also facilitates Cut It Out: A Dangerously Absurd Paper Collage Making Session, a workshop where participants explore innovative techniques and the playful aspects of visual storytelling.
